The traitors and fawning admirers are quite scared by the sword. When the sword is faced up to the star and moon, the light of it looks so sharp that it seems to shoot mix guns.” The Seven-star Treasured Sword described by Ou Yangxiu can not only shine in dark room, but also can indicate the change in weather and make sounds. The brilliant seven-star on it makes the sword glisten in wintry lights. The sword is quite sharp in suppressing evil-doers and in eliminating the traitors and fawning admirers, and it has world-shaking power.
There are swords, Straight Knife, Tachikaze, and Knife with Short Blade and Xiechai for Japanese katana. Someone said “If you want to know the nation of Japan, you should know about their standards on beauty; if you want to trace Japanese standards on beauty, you should start from katana”. This seems a little exaggerated on first hearing, but we would consider it as aculeate profound view when we understand the whole history of katana.
